Milani The Multitasker Face Powder in 04 Light Tan Review

Heiho!! How is your holiday?

Well, one of my recent purchase is this Milani Multitasker Powder..

Did you have tried this before?

Milani The Multitasker Face Powder in No. 04 Light Tan
Net Weight : 0.37 oz / 10.5gr
 Price : Rp80.000 or $7 exclude shipping

I bought this thru Valent's spree in FemaleDaily forum.. I got obsessed with Xteneeers videos lately and wathing it over and over again and this powder used to be staple product in her most recent tutorials!
To be honest im not a fan of a face powder because I like if my face look glowy but in terms to prevent my foundation get slide of easily, therefore I need to dust some powder as a finishing touch to set everything in place.

Actually, before confirming to order this, I am got doubt to choose between Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, Maybelline Dream Matte Powder, or Milani.. I definetely wont order three or two of them because like I said I dont like using powder on my face. But I ended up order the Milani one because I didn't know about my shade in Maybelline and I had known my shade in Milani since I have a same shade with Xteneeer. And the Rimmel one seems unpractical for bringing around because it doesn't provide brush or sponge. Thats why I ended up choosing this.

Haha sorry it takes quite long just me rambling about how can i get this powder. Hehe.

Lets take a closer look to the product!

First, this came with a gold glamour package with a mirror and powder sponge on the inside. I love the colour and the sponge reminds me with a sponge on MAC powder except this in gold colour.
This was quite big and must be taking alot spaces on makeup bag. But dont let the package size fooling you. Despite the pretty flower embossed pattern, the powder is so thin and just had weight of 10.5gr.

This powder has Talc as a main ingredients which some people avoid to. And it also has Fragrance *eventhough i can't smell any scent on it*. But the good thing is I cant find any Paraben written there.

Texture wise, it feel so buttery when I touch it with my finger. The particle is super fine and doesn't look powdery at all. And its totally matte which is can't give you any glow whatsoever.

They said this was a multipurpose powder which can used as a finishing, setting or blot powder and has light to medium coverage and can say that all was true! As you can see from the picture under, it can't hide any flaws on my face which means that this can't be used by itself *except you already has a flawless goddess skin*. But the goodness are this powder won't look caked up and 'fake' on you skin. It seems can fill in any spaces in you pores nice & perfectly, making it look more flawless.

I love how it match perfectly with my medium yellow skintone. I'm not sure though but I guess I am about NC30 in MAC shades as a reference. As Xteeener said before this was one of the most yellow powder that she can find among other drugstore brand. And you can also find your perfect shade even you have a pink undertone since they had quite much range of shades.

For oil control, I can say this not that good. I have a dry to normal skin and this can't hold too long on my skin. But I didn't say I hate this since I am a huge fan of dewy kind of look so this would be no problem for me. Because this didn't make my skin look like a graseball either.

So to sum up, I am quite satisfied with this stuff in my first impression.
I hope you find this post helpful and have a great Monday! :)

Inez Colour Contour Blush with Brush in Lady Inez

I'm back again with some review because I have nothing to do right now~
Wish I can posting as often like this.

I had saying this before that I have been Fall Trend make up lately. I am kinda bored with peachy or pink colored blush and want some newer shade that I was never thought I would dare to wear blush with those kind of colour.

Yes, Fall Trend is identical with purplish, dark warm rosy, dusty, mauve, or raisin colour.
And this is my first time seeing a local blush that has a bold colour instead just of peach or pink that everybody would choose.

So this is blush from Inez called Lady Inez. You would not get this brand in department store or drugstore. You must going to cosmetic store like Pasar Baru or ITC to find this brand.

Inez Colour Contour Plus Blusher with Brush
shade Lady Inez
Price : 37.500

They came with a box which is pretty good for me. The downside is the did not seal their  packaging so we would have no idea wether the one we purchased had been tested by someone, right?
I hope they would  improve their quality here.

Ingredients list

I don't like the design though.. It's look so oldish and nothing attractive.
Its contain pretty much amount of product since almost blush from another brand just have about 3-4grams.

You can check the expired date eventhough you've lost the box.

Pretty big packaging. It was sturdy enough to carrying around when traveling, but I choose to not bringin it when traveling because the blush itself is got cracked easily.

It came with a brush as it saying.

Move on into the colour. I can say that this one has a kind of unique colour since it would look like a dark rosy colour as it touch your skin, but sometimes it would look dark purplish on the pan. I am not really good describing colour but you can see yourself from the swatch above. I tried my best to get the closest swatch as the actual colour. Because picture can tell everything for describing a colour.

Besides the pretty colour, I really hate the texture of this blush. It was so messy and powdery. It looks like a pressed talc if I can say. Oh, and it has a slight scent too. I scent like an old products (do you know what I mean? okay thats not problem if you don't).
The staying power is pretty good. It still looking good after 4 hours in my skin.

So that was it.. Let me know your opinion about this one if you have tried or if you plan to get this in the future or if you got into fall make up trend like me now.
I do really hope this review helpful besides my lack reviewing skill.
I would try my best in the future.
Smile and have a good day everyone :)

La Tulipe Pro Powder Blush Refill in no. 1 & no. 8

Hai! Recently I really been into Indonesian's local product because I just realize that so many product that I didn't know yet. And gosh, those local product has so good quality! And this make me doubt to buy any korean product because I feel they kind of overpriced when I can get just a same quality with a cheaper price (minus they cute packaging of course ;P).

So here it is..

La Tulipe Pro Powder Brush (i got the refill one)

Price : Rp37.500 / $4

I bought this at local store in Bandung called Toko Mahmud. Usually you can get much cheaper price there because they kind of distributor or first seller of so many makeup brand in bandung so they can give a cheaper price. But you can also get this brand in department store like Matahari Department Store, etc.

If you live in Indonesia, you might have heard about La Tulipe Cosmetics and this La Tulipe Pro (which usually have a black packaging one - this is how we can differentiate them) is the proffesional line of La Tulipe cosmetics which usually used by make up artist or proffessional purpose. So this line has a better quality than the original La Tulipe one.

I bought this blush because I am in searching for a highlighter and countour powder so I get this in number 1 & 8 (which is the first & the last number in this powder blush).

They also have another blush colour like pink, peach, or rose.

I don't really like the packaging design though.. haha I would like if they came more cuter or even more elegant. But this one not really bad anyway..

It's made in Indonesia ^_^ *proud*

Size of the real blush. Not really big nor small.

This one has a pink undertone to it. And it will leaves a white cast something like that if you put it too much. Usually I just dab my finger into this blush pan gently to take some colour & spread it out onto my nose or part where i need to highlight. I don't think I would use brush because it might be hard to control or get too much product. But look at the positive side, this will make our product much last longer as well because you just need a tiny bit of this product :)

I guess this one more suit for someone who has a fair skin under NC/NW 30 (in MAC shades) because more tan your skin to be, more bold whitecast you will get from this blush. You need to blend it really well to diminish the white cast.

For the shimmer, I seen that the particle of the shimmer is fine. Not as fine as ELF healty glow bronzer in Luminance, but i hasn't chunky glitter neither. Again, you need to blend it well if you want to get just a sheen finish.

They both has a same size.

This one has a matte finish which good for oily skin people like me.
This not look too orangey or greyish taupe yet it look like a tan/dark shade of compact powder. So it will look natural if you use it as a countour powder.
Honestly, this one didn't really work on my skin shade which is about NC30. I need to use so many product to build up the colour to showed up in my skin. I guess this will work for people who have shade under NC30.

I wonder why Indonesian product lack of dark shade for medium-dark skin people which most of Indonesian people have a medium-dark skintone like me.

Overall, for $4 of each product, we get a pretty good quality of product. I didn't expect to much from both of this. They have no fatal flaw, they shade just not really suit my skintone.

Maybelline Clear Smooth Shine Free Blush in Fresh Apricot

Hello!
A month ago there is a new product that I spotted from Maybelline New York, here in Indonesia.
This blush got a pretty much positive review from beauty addict members in Female Daily forum. So, I get a chance to try this one too :)
This blush also very affordable. Just for $4 or Rp37.500 to be exact in Indonesian Rupiah.

My shade is fresh apricot which is some like reddish coral shade. So pretty and look really natural on my cheeks like my natural blushing face.

You must use this blush with a light hand because this one is so pigmented. U just need a little bit color to enchance ur look.

And the texture is so silky & soft! Not powdery at all.. that's why I love this blush. In the pan it look like that it has shimmer on it but when u swatch on your cheek or hand, the shimmer is gone. Like 100 % matte except u see it really really close up like my last swatch at the bottom.

This blush I choose as my everyday blush because the natural shade, lovely texture, and great pigmentation.

Btw u can check another review of this blush on my cute friend Cominica's blog Here :)

So wish u a happy day and see u next time ^^ bye!
